Has anyone here had a lot of success from only free promotion? I'm just curious if it can be done. If so, what were your methods?

Well, I have only done free promotion, I have definately... no, wait, that's not true, I have paid. Free promoting is basically putting your site in your sig, and it works.

True, advertising your site in forums on your sig is a great way to get free traffic (or steal traffic) and if you put it on targeted forums it is even better.

Yeah, I'm doing that right now. Stupid people pay $0.20 a post for signature posting, I get 'em for FOUR cents a post!

That's 100 posts for $4. For regular sig advertising, it's $20. I save $16. That's basically free. Oh, and that's also 80%. Big number.

I've heard of proomotion when I was in Texas. Also in China. They say it in China.

I've had great success in the past. I'll admit, running a forum and getting members is a lot harder than other websites I've ran.

Forums are harder to run because there are so many and active members are hard to get. But I think this forum is a success now.

People keep claiming that but never provide proof. What is this source this cheap labor?

Do you two (Jordan and PC101) employ paid posters?

I know a lot of forums that use paid posters, I think it's a good way to help get a forum running. I'm not sure if Jordan uses paid posters or not, I wonder if he'd say.
