After focusing on one keyphrase for so long, I've decided to switch up to something that gets a little less searches but I know I can rank high in. Right now I'm #7 on Google for that keyphrase but I want to get #1! It's hard, but I think I'll be able to do it, even if it means contacting people I've link exchanged with and asking them to change the anchor text.

How do you go about picking a keyword for a website? What are your criteria?

I just use DigitalPoint's keyword suggestion tool to see what keywords are searched for a lot but aren't competitive. Yep, that's how I do it.
