There are a few easy ways to increase CTR (this is only if you run ads on your site) on your site. Lots of people get very low CTR, like 0.5%-1%, simply because their ads are in the wrong place. If you integrate your ads into your webpages, by putting them directly into the content, and making the ad background color the same as your web page background color, your CTR is sure to increase a little bit. Another way is to anticipate what ads are going to appear, mainly by looking at them, and then write a review of them. For example, if ads coming up are for flowers, you can write about why flowers are so good to have, then people will want to click on the ads. Get it? I have yet to try this on my site though, but it's worked for other people, in fact, people build sites based on that concept.

Yup, this concept is well known and will increase your CTR rate. You should consider this when building a new site if you are going to display ads.

Yeah I should've probably done it, but it's hard when you run a humor site. I have lots of articles, but I don't think those get many hits.
