I don't understand this. Sometimes on Gmail, of course run by Google, in the "Web Clips" there are sometimes links to "Ask Yahoo" questions. Why would Google do anything to promote Yahoo? And one time I saw that one of their Sponsored Links was to "AdSense Ready Sites", which I was under the impression that Google was AGAINST. Why would they be promoting it? It doesn't make sense.
Google/Gmail can be weird...

It maybe weird. But we have to accept the fact that GMail is the best web based mail provider!

gmail is a good web based mail provider. I like it. I wouldn't let yahoo advertise on my site if I were google but hey, I bet yahoo is paying $$$ to get those ads.

So, they're linking to their biggest competition. That is really weird, no matter how much money they're getting.
