Has anybody ever made any successful websites using only HTML? No PHP, no javascript, nothing else except HTML. I think in today's world, it's hard to make a great site using only HTML, but has anyone here done it? Even I use some PHP.

I think that would be a lot of work compared to a PHP/Database driven website. I bet there is someone out there who is making money though.

I'm sure of it. I mean, there are over 50 million websites up, and billions of web pages. I'm sure at least 100,000 are very successful, simply HTML sites.
