I just started an adbrite campaign and selected a few sites that have very relevant content. I'll keep everyone posted as to how the conversion does.

Does anybody have any experience of using adbrite for revenue?

How much have you paid on adbrite Crane, and what was it that made you choose it over adsense/affiliate program?

A lot of those adbrite sites are warez sites or adult or illegal. I've noticed sites with all kinds of ads on them that are also on the adbrite network.

I run adsense as well but bids are so high that I rarely ever get any clicks. It has been about 12 hours since I bought these 30 day links. I have already received 21 clicks! I've been running adsense for about 6-10 days on the current campaign and received 1 click.

Total spent on adbrite: $31.65

I beefed up the adsense campaign - made the max CPC to $1.00

Average CPC: 0.02
Impressions: 77,430

Adsense Clicks: 8
Average CPC: 0.52
Impressions: 2,988

I was planning on waiting until at least 24 hours but the results have been so great I wanted to share them. As you can see, it is cheaper and (so far) better to go with adbrite campaign rather than adsense.

True, you have to filter through them and make sure you don't select a foreign language site or a warez/adult site.

If you are talking about PPC, then there is only really bidvertiser, adsense, ypn then there is nobody else really worth bothering with.

However, major affiliate networks, tradedoubler, cj etc. should allow you to use text links to advertise programs. If you have a niche, or high traffic website you could maybe make more from this. I'm sure you could make your own ad block - not something I've seen done.

Many people make money by purchasing PPC ads for their affiliate programs - CPC marketing. I know some sites that turn over $150k a year just by doing this.
