I heard that a good way to get ranked higher in certain keywords is if you change the keywords themselves. That includes changing the color of the keyword, increasing the size, changing the font, bolding, italicizing, or underlining the keyword. Right now, in articles I write, I only change the color of the word I'm trying to optimize. I'm not sure if it works, but it doesn't hurt to try.
