How does your software do on tucows.com? Have you ever bought any advertisment from there?

I'm interested in how many downloads you received and your ROI.

I know that tucows usually gives my software 4 or 5 cows but I don't keep up with how many sales from there or downloads. Last I check it was a couple of hundred from each software title.

I've never heard of tucows, how does it work? When you say, "4 or 5 cows", are cows synonomous with like, stars? Like 4 stars, 5 stars, that kind of thing.

Tucows - http://www.tucows.com

It is a large place to submit software.

I'd like to hear from anyone that has done any ads on there. I'm thinking about buying one just to see how it preforms.

Tucows is as old as the hills; so I would think it is pretty trustworthy. I have seen it mentioned on many sites;)

I don't like shareware and freeware is Better. And shareware is goos for promoting your products and bring traffic. I hate Ad-wares.

So if you use shareware, is it on a timer? I mean, does shareware have an expiration date?
