I just posted about my dual monitors. I am a die hard nvidia fan though and both of my video cards are nvidia. Which do you prefer or use?
Nvidia or ATI?
or Other, is there an other?

My video card is ATI, so that's my favorite. I haven't used anything else, at least, not to my knowledge.

I've used plenty of both. I have a radeon 9800 pro right now, but nvidia is better in my book, because it works much easier w/ linux, nvidia has "spanview" i think that's what it's called that allows you to have dual monitor games. My card right now runs my dual monitors great right now, just not on games :-(

nvidia all the way
ati's linux support is embarassing.
short, SLI is a new mobo+card enabled tech that allows you to run two card and have them act as one powerful card. you'll notice some gold edges on the top towards the front of SLI enabled video cards. the sli enabled mobo's have two pci-e slots that fit a video card. you put both the cards in, and place a bridge between both the cards gold edges.
ati has a similar technology, crossfire i think it's called.

Ahmen I also have a trashy ProSavage chip on my old HP. Can hardly play any newer games on it, then again never had alot of times for that. Used to play flightsimulator but it would sometimes stop the game and cut off all of the sudden :(
I would have to say ATI because they make better chips performance wise and they are usually durable and long lasting.

I'm not really that into video cards, I just have what came with my comp, and I don't even know what that is. I still voted in the poll though, and it wasn't other ;-)
