If your site isn't indexed yet then it wont rank, if its in the sandbox.
How old is/was your site when you tried searching for it?

Ha, it IS first on the list. Maybe it wasn't ranking first when you posted because it was new and Google just didn't have a chance to index it yet.

Dont worry!

Google can be rather erratic, many of my domains occasionaly "dip out" for a bit. Concentrate on updating site content, and the bots will come!

you are number one for Virtual Pet List.com but every now and then you might see your site missing from the top, but you should panic as it might simple be a glitch.

Exactly!
I have learnt not to become obsessed with what google do with my site and also find its more stable in MSN and Yahoo!

Yeah MSN and Yahoo are more stable. Actually, I've never seen my site on Yahoo before, except when I searched the domain name. I rank better in MSN and Google, but the best on MSN.

People definately rank better in MSN than Google, or at least that's what it seems. I've seen people who rank #1 on MSN for a popular term but aren't even on the first few pages on Google!
