Goto http://msdn1.microso...us/default.aspx and on that page there is a banner where you can download vista! I'm going to download it and play around. See what it offers! Has anyone done it? Does anyone have any screenshots?

I have windows vista public 2, but I cant get past the install screen, becuase my gfx card isn't support.

I've used it. It is very nice looking. I can't wait until the final version comes out!

What's this Windows Vista? I've never heard of it before. What does it do... you know, just a general explanation. In the meantime, I'll just do a Google search.

I used it on my main computer for about a month. Certainly the most stable beta that I've ever used from Microsoft. Even though it's pretty "heavy" feeling, it still ran pretty quick, especially in games. I actually saw a fps increase in CounterStrike : Source. Aero looks good, I really LOVE the "windowskey + tab" feature as an alternative to alt+tab.

I have the beta installed on my other hard drive, its not that impressive, it is basically windows XP with some mac OSX tweaks, like how when you hover over the tool bar it shows the screen, and that sidebar with the widgets kills your memory.
