As im totally new to linux ive just installed Fedora 5 and was wondering if anyone could give me some reco on what antivirus / firewall software is any good. Been using win for long time and generally use Zonealarm pro and Avg pro. any equivelants for linux??

last time I heard Linux only had 13 viruses. I know there is a free anti-virus for linux but I can't remember what it is. I dont even use one on my linux boxes.

Dont use Clam AV, its still to new, and can currently only detect viruses, not remove them. An award winning program is BitDefender. You can download it for free from;

Try AntiVir, is free and your best option. This app is the winner of many awards and it will not let you down!
