My website is SEO optimized and it has been two months but still no visitors! Is this normal?
I'm starting to regret optimizing my website......

This takes a long time. Usually about 6 months before you will see any traffic from search engines. I'd say you shouldn't regret optimizing your website, you just need to wait a little before you start to see any visitors.

Sounds right to me. I'd say give it even longer than 6 months.

That is nothing. I've had websites last 10 months before any decent traffic ever got to it.

This is all pretty discouraging, my website is only 3 months old, and I was hoping to get decent traffic faster. Of course, I'm doing okay right now, I'm getting a lot of impressions per day, but I have no idea about uniques or anything like that.

How can you regret "optimizing" your site? I think you're just in the sandbox, as time goes on, your site gets older, your backlinks age, you'll get higher in the SERPs.

Yes that's what keeps me going. I know that each day that passes, my website gets more optimized just because of time. I'm sure once it's a year old I'll start ranking really well for targeted terms.

Don't forget to keep building links that have your keyword in the anchor text, and remember to be patient. With SEO, time is your friend.
