How many keywords articles should a site add every week to maintain search engine rankings?
I add 1 article per week but I see my competitors adding several a day.
Which is better?

I'm not sure i know what you mean. You add a new article for your product every week that contains keywords?

I try to add articles at least once a week, but my site is small and the main focus is not articles.

I haven't added an article to my site in a long time, I really should add more. I might start paying people to write article's for me, but so far all my content is completely original, I don't want to lose that.

Which is better?
Well obviously it's better to add as many articles as possible. But since it's hard to add articles frequently, especially when you don't have anyone writing them for you, 1 a week is fine.

You should add as much as possible, they basically optimize themselves. I wrote a keyword rich article and it got #4 on Google for the keyphrase I was targeting, and I didn't even build links for it!
