Do you still use ASP?

Sorry no, I don't think you can use phpmyadmin with ASP - it is for MYSQL databases.

I am saying the microsoft software to manage databases in ASP is better than phpmyadmin IMO.


You mean MS Access or SQL Server Enterprise Manager? Microsoft dont really have something directly comparable with PHPmyadmin

I basically mean MS Acccess, which I prefer to use for managing databases really. I guess it isn't comparing like for like however. PHPmyadmin is a lot more complex but is exceptionally powerful as well, it just takes some getting used to.

Access is probably easier for the average windows user to learn to manage their site.

I personally think Access is a very well designed bit of software if a little basic, ideal though for smaller sites and beginners. Big gap between the skills needed for that though and the next step up, Enterprise manager!
