I was just reading an article about the EU forcing Microsoft to include other browsers in there OS.
So I was wondering what would be the benefit to the authors of these other browsers if Microsoft includes there browser in the OS. Although I see the benefit it would bring to consumers in the fact that at least the cosumer can make a choice. But do the authors benefit anything? I was really wondering since you could download a browser for free even if Microsoft includes it in its OS or not.
Firefox gets some of its revenue from google in exchange for the google quick-search and default page. I think Opera has a paid version of its browser. Safari's auto-updater encourages people to install Quicktime and iTunes... which encourages people to use Apple's video software and store.
Now I get it, they all have financial ad onsThanks for making me know that, now we can as well see who is lobbying the EU.

Remember when Microsoft tried to overtake the internet with that thing (Microsoft Net i think).
Please, write clearly with proper structure. Double spacing makes the text feel un-jointed, Capitalizing Every Word Means People Stop Before Every Word Sub-Consciously Which Is A Pain In The Backside, and use code tags! (The right most styling box).
