The clock reads 8:01AM and 8:11AM. That is 10 minutes apart even though I selected remind me in 4 hours. Did you not read the initial thread?
Yes I did, everything makes sense.
4 hours * 60 = 240 minutes
240 % 10 minutes = 0
Therefore, 240 divides by 10. Microsoft has not lied to you. It will certainly remind you in 4 hours' time. However, it will also remind you in 10 minutes' time, 20 minutes' time, 30 minutes' time and so on. See?
I see, the genius logic behind MS!
...It was a minor bug if you download two critical updates at the same time each prompts for a restart. You most likely did get a prompt 4 hours later as well.
Actually... I hit remind me in 4 hours about 12 times before I gave in and rebooted and each time it reminded me in 10 minutes.
wow, i saw the same problem on my friend's laptop...the updates never stop

Classical Microsoft. This is the kind of thing that caused me to stop installing updates.
i did that on my xp last year (not 2008, in 2007) and my windows is working just fine with no bugs
