Which video card is the best for $80 ?

I currently have an NVIDIA 7600GS 256mb, i want an upgrade, but i will not pay more than $80. I saw a 8600gt for that price and with 1gb of memory, but i did a little research and read that that card is bad. What do you think ?

If you are upgrading from a 7600GT or maybe even a 8500 or a 8400, your money is WAY better spent on a 8800GTS (130-170$) Or even a 8800GT (120-150$)

i think i will wait a little longer to buy a good card. The thing is that i am downloading nba 2k9 and i know it wont run smoothly.
