I thought I would try to kick-start this forum by posting some links on "how-to" crack software. Read these which will help you learn how your software is being cracked. You'll understand what is done and what you can do to better protect your software. If you know of more links, post them here!

When you want to learn to crack, or secure software you would generally not find anything useful, if you're searching on "cracking applications," etc. You need to read about the different topics in cracking and securing, and then read about each topic. When you've learned a lot about the different topics, you can cook all of it together into a soup and use the knowledge to crack or secure some software.

Personally, I don't like tutorials/articles like those you linked to. I prefer to learn about the different topics in a non-crackable way. I mean, where it don't target on teaching someone to crack, but to teach someone to really know the specific topic into details. It of course takes longer, but it's that worth in the end.

When you're reading tutorials/articles that tries to teach you how to crack a program, it often just does it roughly, and doesn't goes into details. The details are important for you, if you want to crack or secure software on your own, where you can't look in an article for hints.

I agree with what you say but I also feel the best way to learn how to protect yourself is getting your hands dirty. To truly protect your software you need to learn how to crack software. Tutorials give that effect.

Post some of your links too
