First of all, nice to have this category! Since no one else has started it first I will go ahead. What are some tips/tricks for protecting my/your software against cracking? What do you do that helps your software?

Use online registration mechanism! That is one of the safest methods I know.

Nope it is not. If I were you I would read the Cracking article I wrote in the Security Tutorials forum.
