hi everyone , im a newbie so i ask for ur patience
I intend to develop large scale cross-platform c\c++ applications (GUI , opensource,..) , so im in a situation for preparing and building a programming environment on my pc .
after some searches on the internet , i were lost about all the diff tools that exist , which one depend on wich one , task relations , etc
for ex ill show what i got in my head so far ;
i write code with (vim or any IDE like (eclipes or devc++)) using c++ libraries(for gui , network, mysql database) from qt , then compile the whole **** using gcc
some light plzz
I'm building an environment using GCC tools + CodeBlocks + wxWidgets + Boost++. I'm hoping it will work well for me.
Compiler: GCC -> Cygwin | MinGW
IDE: CodeBlocks
GUI/MISC Lib: wxWidgets
MISC Lib: Boost
