TM1 What ever happened to it?

Does anyone know what ever happened to TM1 Software? It was an add-on to MS Excel that acted as a 3-dimensional spreadsheet. If you can picture a spreadsheet, but then used it to create a cube where any one cell could reference information from 2 or 3 or more different tables of information in a variety of ways, that's what TM1 did.

Does anyone remember it, and can anyone tell me what the heck happened to it? It was such a tremendously powerful program if one understood how to use it.

I'd searched for it a couple of years ago and couldn't find it anywhere. After reading your post I searched some more and now I see it referenced in a number of places. I'd simply given up some time ago on finding it.

Perhaps it kind of went by the wayside for a while then picked up strength again.

I don't even remember if the company that owns it now (Applix) is the same company that owned it back when I used it on a regular basis!

Applix was purchased by Cognos last year, then Cognos was bought by IBM. TM1 is an active product offering. A new release is coming out soon which will start integrating it with Cognos BI.
