The top four Browsers I would say are Opera, Safari, FireFox and Internet explorer (some sites only work using Internet Explorer)
In a nutshell
Opera and Safari are the fastes to launch and javascript/css , explorer is the slowest specially dealing with javascript/css
Firefox has the smallest memory usage, make sure not to add too many plug-ins so you keep it that way.
If you have to fill on-line forms make sure to check out roboform
Im gonna jump of the bandwagon of what most of this thread and say Google Chrome. :001_tt1: I love it so much. It's slick, fast, and personally its just cool in my opinion. Not as many features as firefox but its speed makes up for everything depending on what you use it for. Some sights may not work (microsoft sites i've noticed) because its a new browser and they ask to use ie or ff![]()
If you want to use local browser, get firefox
if you want a portable browser, go to google, type protable opera
i tried portable firefox, it's slower than portable opera, i don't know why
btw, that portable opera offers two versions, one will erases everything for you once you close the browser
one will save some personal data onto your usb with a single small file

*-*-*-*__ C++ revolutionized the modern programming language, but what happen to C+? Programming is just a study of chemistry __*-*-*-*
Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Konqueror (KDE 4.2 programs have been ported to Windows, without the need for Cygwin) are my favorites.
FIREFOX!!!
Well I suppose I like Firefox the best. I am starting to like Safari but it just seems there is a bit too much color already built into forms etc so if you dont tell it what color you want the forms to be say for instance your site is mainly green, when somebody clicks an input box a blue color will appear which could throw off how the site looks. Google Chrome has always given me problems but that is an older opinion when it first came out from what I can tell it has improved since then.
It's Time to Get Personal
Apple - Safari - Introducing Safari 4 - See the web in a whole new way
Google Chrome - Download a new browser
I'm still using Chrome on Windows, FF in Linux. Chromium for Linux still has some bugs.
<3 Firefox, such a nice tidy and reliable browser. Never had any issues with it![]()
I suggest FF, it works steady, and you can't ignore the big use of its addons
