When you say "make a new system" do you mean installing a new OS or getting a new computer? In either of those cases, you do not need to purchase a new license.
for example, a company hire me to make a new system/software for their company and ill be making it at home. Do i have to purchase a new license of visual studio if i already have my own?
you have your own, that's fine without problems.

ok thnx!
It also depends on your Visual Studio licence.... I have Visual Studio 2008 Professional, but it's through DreamSpark, a student initiative. It is illegal for me to sell software built with this, because it is for academic and non-profit use only. I would have to buy a commercial licence.
If you obtained Visual Studio by traditional means, like at the store, you can distribute your software free of charge.
