Well there are tons of free ones good and bad ones... I don't think that you have to buy one, what special features can a Shareware have that a free one can't? here we are talking about a simple FTP software!

Uploading 1 or 2 files with IE works fine for me, but its when you need to upload a whole script with 200 images and 50 php files it usually times out and you need to restart everything all over again.

Frequently I just use commandline FTP. It's what I learned in '91, and has never failed me
