    Quick helpout :(

    Hey guys, one quickie !
I was wondering is there a Text Editor in Linux equivalent to textpad?

    Which means it has have...

    Hintlighting
    Syntax styling
    Correction suggestions
Able to compile and run without any fuss(within the editor itself as textpad...)
    Simple to navigate and use
    Free software or Open software

    So, is there any?
Thanks for helping out, also don't bother me with Eclipse,Codeblocksor,NetBeans or any other IDE, I want only Text Editors :>

Kate can run console commands/scripts, and has many of the rest. jEdit should have some plugins for anything that's missing. kdevelop is also out there, though I don't use it.
