Are you just trying to get some free advertising, or discuss the benefits of these languages against others? For example, I don't see why I would want to by Aurora when I can get numerous free resources on C++ and have something that is inherently cross-platform. Why do you have two different flavors of BASIC? How do the compare to VB or other BASIC flavors? Any reason this shouldn't be considered spam?

Not spam, spammers don't usually use their real names

This is a programming forum so I figured someone might be interested. As a programmer I am continually trying different languages out.

Aurora isn't C/C++, although I used a lot of C like syntaxes when writing the parser for it, as I was used to { } and semicolons to terminate lines. My original goal with Aurora was to create a language that was robust enough to use as a day to day development language, but also avoided some of the stumbling blocks newbies come across when starting out with say C++ or C#, its been used as a teaching platform in a few community colleges.

Emergence BASIC is a 32 bit compiler, it does have a Linux version that isn't fully complete yet, but I give it away for free. It was designed around the same realm of syntax as traditional BASIC languages. It has evolved over the last 18 years from a humble beginning on the Amiga, to an interpreter, and finally to a true compiler that generates fast native code without the overhead of runtimes. Over the years I've added 3D capabilities with a DirectX 9 library, built in database support, etc. If your used to hand holding, and not writing code, then you'll probably not like Emergence.

Creative BASIC is the offshoot of the original Amiga interpreter. Users liked it so much that they begged me not to kill it. It's syntax is very similar to Emergence BASIC as Emergence was meant to be the replacement for it. One user liked it so much that he footed the bill for its continued development.

In any event, they all have demos available. If you like them, fine, if you don't like them, thats fine too. But at least you know they exist and that was the point of the original post.

    Thanks,

This is off topic but did you realize that I own ionicware.com and that we both use Joomla for the CMS? You should consider switching to ionFiles isntead of Remository.

Actually using Mambo straight from the box without Joomla. But you are correct, Remository leaves a lot to be desired.
