My new site... wanna give me a quick hand?

Quick opinion request..

You know how hosts have certain colors for the plans? like basic is copper, advanced is silver and pro is gold.. you think I should let them pick a background color for the plan/price row?

I guess I should have 2 search types, keeyword and advanced.

Dont want anyone to have to search advanced for "yahoo" or "toasted Penguin" if they know the name of the host

I can spell tits, I just have a shitty keyboard, and id rather spend money on my actual pc :-P

Working on the search functions, added new one, now I just gotta make them search.. lol.

Just a few things that come to mind:

1. AJAX isn't a "feature" web hosts offer. Any host who offers PHP/Ruby/ASP or any other server side development language will offer AJAX.

2. Two features that are missing that usually separate web hosts are Tomcat and Ruby/Ruby on Rails

3. You might want to give the user the option to specify the management features. ie) Specify how many email addresses, subdomains, parked domains, addon domains they want, or the type of control panel they want Cpanel, Plesk, Helm, DirectAdmin ect...

Thats true about ajax, ajax deleted, ruby and tomcat added...

Not sure about your # 3 but ill give it some thought.

Although what John said about AJAX is true you may want to leave it. Some people may not know what AJAX is but intend on using it (or installing a script that says "Uses AJAX!").

One thing that annoys me about webhosts is if they don't allow fopen to access external URLs. I've left two hosts because of this (back before John and I owned our own server). It would be cool to see PHP specific features in the list. Perhaps the webhosts could submit a slim version of phpinfo()?

Maybe you could have a system where users can enter in other options if you've forgotten one. You could store the new ones, and add them after.
