Hi there, I am trying to improve my website and would love some advice.

Please let me know what you think of my forum, tech tips, and daily photo pages.

Any advice is good advice to me. Please be straight with me

Here are some things that I dislike:

1. The buttons at the top - there is to much gloss.
2. I'm not a big fan of the background (the teal colors)
3. None of these links have the same theme even though they are all hosted on the same database. I see no consistency.

I like the theme of the daily photo. You should consider using this for all of your pages.

Well what can i say...
me as an almost a professional designer (im working as a designer)
i must say that.. i really don't like that vista's theme for forums and for tech site..
and hmm.. this photo thingy.. i really don't like that banner..but overall i like the theme
mm..
this vista's theme is not very professional.. it's nice like vista but it don't have anything what could make it professional.. if you want to have a professional design..
for all sites i'll give 6/10 because.. it can be better

I don't care for the text on banner - too much bevel/emboss. I also think the links at the top can be improved; perhaps you might think of implementing the buttons in a more vista style manor: How to create VISTA style toolbar with CSS

Forum: ok but "register" has a ugly font and doesnt make sense in the place where it is, since it isnt a button or something.

Tech Tips: looks ok but a bit simply

Photo part: looks ok, wordpress like.

General, the fonts for the different types are ok but cloud be better. more design could be added.
