Well after I fixed my website I thought I'd give it a shot and post it here for review. FindItGlobally.com - Business Directory
Thanks!
It looks a lot better than the old one but here a few things I noticed:
1) My attention immediately goes to the blue search/breadcrum bar. Wouldn't you want the attention at the categories?
2) The content background is the same as the entire page. Generally, it is good practice to make these two different so people view your site easier.
3) You may want to center the categories. They are left aligned.
Other than those three points, excellent job. The font and font color make the page very easy to read. The listing have an avatar as well as a link and the more details page is very informative.
Thanks for your good review. So, What can I do about number 1? Can you explain better number 2? And yes in fact you are right, I should centralize the categories, and I will as soon as I post this message. Thanks.
EDIT:- Number 3, If I centralize them then the tiny globe won't appear under IE and Opera... So I will leave it left aligned until I find a solution.

For number one you could make the background of the categories different than the world. Notice on here you have the gray sidebars on each side but the actual forum is in white? Changing this on your website would solve number 1 and two. Like I said, the blue "pops" out and as soon as I seen your site my attention focused on the search bar. This is a good thing if that is where you want the users attention.
So you want something like the details page? the background of the text is in grey, right?
Yeah, except you should make the blue and the gray meet. These are just my opinions though. Everyone else may prefer it the way you have it.
Well when I made it that way, it didn't look so attractive. I am so confused on what to do...
Anyways have any other ideas? I really appreciate your help!! Believe me. Now I'm finding a fix to centralize the categories.
