I have been using download.com for so many years now and its still around.
I think I started using it around 5 years ago!

Does anyone else love this site?

It used to be a lot better. It has diminshed a lot in the last couple of years and I think it has changed companies a couple of times.

download.com is heaven for developers. If your products arn't on download.com your downloads will decrease to more than half, IMO.

Tucows is probably the second biggest one. ZDNet use to have one that was large until download.com merged with it.

I thought Download.com was always owned by C-Net. Well, I haven't visited the site in awhile, so I don't know for sure. But I used to go there a lot to download games, and it was great, they have so much stuff.

I definitely sweat by download.com for anything which requires new programs to use it.

Download.com is owned by CNet, which was bought out. Tucows is probably the second largest PC<< site, but its the biggest for PDA downloads on a non-specialized pda site.

download.com is one of the best to get things most of them i find free but the site has alot of reliable soft ware

Yes, this is the best place to have your software listed or advertised. It is costly though.

I have never heard of download.com and will definitely surf on over there a little bit later. Thanks for the tip. I think, I must be the only one here that has not heard of download.com )
