I think many people over here are interested on making the attack than preventing it.
Thanks for the sample .htaccess file. Did anyone check the .htaccess file yet?
And if it really does prevent the attack, why not drop a message on the Joomla community?
I'm sure they welcome guys with such posts and maybe they'll get it into their next patch.
