    Hi Friends..

    Actually I am just eager to know that we generally optimize the links http://www.......... Can we optimize ftp protocols ?

    No, your FTP server contains no text so there is nothing to optimize.

    True. But I guess you can still make link building for hose URL's.. right?

    I don't see why not but why would you? Build an HTML page with keywords and phrases on it which contains the file download FTP link. Then do your SEO targeting toward that page.

    So I guess.. yes you can.

    That works if all you are going to host and promote are text files. What about binary/executable files?

    You should really focus your energy on anything else but ftp SEO works
    My suggestion is link building, and a lot of link building...

    Keep building links and eventually you will succeed, as long as your competition isn't building better links faster. And FTP SEO is new to me, quite interesting actually.
