PR Update

Hey there,

It looks like a PR update is underway

My freelance programming website rose from PR0 to PR2.

My client's home page rose from PR2 to PR3, but some of his inner pages are now PR4 and PR5. It does not really make sense though because there are hardly any quality backlinks to these inner pages if any at all. PR is suppose to be based on backlinks..

Anyway, how have all of your sites done with this PR update?

Wow, I didn't even realize there was a PR update! Looks like mine rose from 2 to 3 also!

CodeCall seemed to drop to a PR3. I believe it was a PR4 before wasn't it?

How often are these updates and what determines your PR rating?

Hey there,

PR usually usually updates every 3 months. However, google skipped the last PR update so it has been 6 months since the last update.

The PR rating is based upon the number and quality of backlinks to a web page. There is a pretty nice website about the calculation here:
