I don't think that PR really matters in the grand scheme of things. Like I've seen a lot of people say, it only matters if you're selling your site, although that's not entirely true because some people don't care. What really matters is SERPs, traffic, and the quality of the site, not the PR (in my opinion).
PR = Nothing.
I'm not even sure what it is meant to do other than help you sell a site or sell text links. When buying a site look at the visitors and income per month. That should be what determines the worth.
Hey there,
I disagree.
In my opinion PR matters a lot. That is why Google is going after paid links - because those inbound links are used to manipulate the PR system, which upsets SERP rankings.
While I believe it is true to say that PR means less than it has in the past, I do not think it is fair to say that it means nothing.
Sincerely,
Travis Walters

I've seen a lot of sites with high PRs but not good SERPs. It doesn't matter if you have high PR if you're not properly optimized.
Well the PR helps to sell links on your website.. mopstly.. no actual use of it. IMO
Page rank is the recognition of google and it is not at all the important one.You concentrate on the SERP,getting traffic to your site and site quality,content etc.
