I would say that nothing is better - how did you manage to get 0?

    Perhaps 0 is nothing?

Thing is, that PR0 site won't stay that way forever and your grotty link may turn into a star later on.

Assess the site, the energy the site owner puts into etc and you'll know if that PR0 is good or not.

@Jordan: Well PR0 is not nothing, a PR0 website is not a nothing website, lol.

@sarahk: Yes maybe as it is still PR0 might not make any sense, but as time goes by and it's PR will increase perhaps the link value will increase too..thanks for the tip

Well the way I see it, a pagerank of nothing, means that google hasn't included the website in their ranking system...so it is unranked.

Now a pagerank of 0 means that it is ranked, but it just has the lowest rating.

So you can look at it as good that it is included, but just that you have some work to do to work at getting the pagerank up there.

Don't worry, as you develop the website, the ranking will go up if it is a good website.

I think I agree with what brian is saying. 0 = bad.

    Brian, nice website.

    Hey there,

I was just looking over this thread and have a question.

What if somebody purchases a domain with a page rank of 0?

Do you think the domain name could have been banned or penalized? I do not think it is banned because it shows up in the google search results, but google has not crawled the website for 2 months.

What are your thoughs? Thanks for any suggestions.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

How many link backs do you have to this site? It could be that 0 simply means there are no links to the site which would also be why google has not crawled it.

    Hey there,

Well, i know yahoo has about 300 backlinks and google has about 150 showing in their webmaster tools.

All of these backlinks were obtained during the last three months.

The future PR predictor said I should be at PR2, but I know that tool is not reliable.

I just do not want to be stuck at PR0 for another 6 months.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters
