I need some suggestions on what book I should buy to help me learn python. What books have you liked? What books haven't you liked and why? I don't want to just pick one and make the wrong decision.

That's how I learned. Though I printed the whole thing out onto paper and read it.
You may prefer a book but the Python tutorial is plenty sufficient for just learning Python and Pythonic programming. If you also need to learn programming - then it may not be adequate.

the python tutorials in the python resources sticky at the top of this forum are very helpful, I would look through those for something before I bought anything. In fact, I wouldn't buy anything, period.
