No problem...like I said...it really isn't like that means its breaking the laws of the universe or anything, but the IEEE standards are kinda important still.

You might not really want to worry about them right now, but at least one day I'd take the time to at least skim through them, they will make you a better programmer for sure

People fail to understand that python is not as popular because its all text base. It is the simple basic coding that made our text based games what they are today. If you want to create a text based script that allows a user to give input and receive data. Then Python will work for you. If you are looking to make an executable file for software. Then python is not going to be your best option. As far as how much you can learn with it and how far you can go. You can do anything from making calculations to making a fully coded text based game. It all depends on what you want to use it for.

No problem I just don't like how people are saying Python is a sucky language. It is amazingly flexible and very good to learn on. I have been using it for only 2 days and I am already starting to code my first text based game. So if you are a beginner this is the language for you. Python will not make c++ a breeze to learn but it will give you the information you will need to understand how the code works. In four days I went from not knowing a single thing about programming to understanding what the coding community is about and learning my first language The only thing you need to be a programmer is the capability to learn and the inspiration. If you have the inspiration to learn it. Then you will be fine

P.S: Heh... So how many post do you need to become a member on here again? I want to get off the newbie rank
