Default Wordpress anti-spam plugin
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.
I need a plugin to help stop spam comments on my wordpress blog, does anyone know which is the best plugin for this?

Not sure as I don't use a blogging system. What are your options for an anti-spam plugin?

What do you mean options?
I just mean a plugin that can help detect comments that might be spam

I believe it is called Akismet and it is made by the person who made Wordpress. You need a wordpress.com blog account to use it though, as you need to api you get with that account. Install the plugin though and it works great.

I just added it to my busiest blog and it has caught every piece of spam sent in the last week except for 1. The good thing is though it can learn when you tell it made a mistake.

Defiantely a great plug-in.
