lame error

FFS.. always i get this problemo but i have no idea how to fix this dang error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/*/public_html/stuff/imagezz/upload.php on line 33

and my 33th row is this:

Yep, no problemo. I think the problem is that the variable is inside double quotes and single quotes. PHP should be able to parse simple variables like that inside double or single quotes

ie)

PHP Code:

<?php
$foo = "bar";
echo "foo$foo";
//echo 'foo$foo'; 
?>

Prints: foobar

However, to be safe, I try to leave variables out of any quotes.
