You might have gone off Apache now, but just in case you haven't: I installed Apache, PHP and MySQL on my Windows box using these two pages:
Using Apache with Microsoft Windows Installing Apache PHP MySQL It wasn't the most straightforward thing to do, but it was possible. The trickiest thing was editing the Apache httpd.conf file to enable PHP. The tutorial says to add the line: LoadModule php4_module php/sapi/php4apache2.dll but I had to change it to my version of PHP: LoadModule php5_module "C:/Program Files/PHP5.2.1/php5apache2_2.dll" Hope that's of some use to someone.
