How old were you?

How old were you when you started doing PHP programming? I guess I "sort of" got into it around 17 by just editing other PHP applications.

i was 14 or 15 when i started and im 17 (almost 18) now. i started off by messing with a CMS...when i got frusterated because everytime i edited a file i would always get an error, i picked up a book and started reading.

I was 13 when I started wonderign how the internet worked (TCP/IP) (HTML/PHP) I looked at some ebooks on programmign PHP/HTML and just learned bymyself no courses needed.

I've used PHP for a long time but just recently got into PHP programming/scripting.

I was 18 when I discovered the internet back in 1991. I discovered the wonders of ftp, and was instantly hooked. I didn't much care about protocols other than configuring my dialup kermit connection for 7bit odd parity.

Thats very young! I imagine you know your PHP?

I acutaly got into it just this past summer. I decided i wanted to do some webbased applications, picked up a book on PHP... never read it of course. And just started programing. Now i can say i'm pretty proficient with it. I can get done what need to, and if i hit a road block (like getting CSV files to read right last week) it'll usualy just take me a few hours to tackle.

I found PHP very easy to just pick up, and run with. And, i LOVE how PHP handles variables.

PHP is easy to learn and a very nice language. I've got a couple of those books sitting around that I never read as well. Boring!
