PHP Totally sucks!

Have you ever wondered... PHP does suck? I mean it has good functionality.. the server side scripting idea.. it is ok.. offers many functionality that static pages can't.. but PHP, can't it be just better? The way you program with it, the coding, the whole thing.. just isn't right!

Do you agree? or disagree? Don't say that PHP does not suck just because it would be 'uncool' to say so.. just admit it.. PHP does suck!

Personally, PHP has all kinds of flaws and bugs in it. It also seems like the developers can't decide on trivial things like naming conventions.

I agree that a naming convention for functions would be nice but that is not a good reason not to like a programming language.

PHP does have some bugs and problems but what language doesn't? It would help if you gave specific reasons why you hated PHP, instead of making a general opinion and leaving us to figure it out.

Having coded in PHP, classic ASP, and ColdFusion, I just can't agree with you. Classic ASP sucks big time. PHP and ColdFusion are on par with each other and pretty easy to work with.

Can you name anything better than PHP?

Never have done ColdFusion, but I can't agree more with you on the ASP bit.

Nothing comes easier to me than PHP for a decent programming language. HTML and CSS don't count PHP has its pitfalls, but overall is the easiest language to work with and can be implemented in many situations easily.
