Okay today, boys and girls we will make a retro style text... so let's start

1. Make a new document. ( i use 640x480 )

2. Now write your name or text. Use some retro font. I used Impact.

3. Now open your Character Palette. Windows -> Character. Set those settings:


4. Now duplicate your text layer by pressing CTRL+J.

5. Change your text color to white and set those layers like this W=White B=Black:


6. Select your black text layer and move you text using the Move Tool (press V)



7. Now hide the white one, then select this black one then duplicate it. ( CTR+J)

8. Next Layer -> Type -> Convert To Shape



9. Now press ''A'' and click & drag action from the upper left downward to the lower right, as I have captured below:


Now you have it like this:


10. Now hold down ALT and use DOWN key and RIGHT key on you keyboard you move this black one like this:


11. Now press ENTER and make your white layer viseble. Now add smome srtoke and some color.


To make a stroke select your black layer. Then right click on it and select Blending Options.


To change your text color select the first... the white layer. There press right click and select Blendling Options.




And you have it.
