Changing Router> to Router# using Perl script

hi, does anyone here knows how to write a perl script to change this mode : Router> to Router# ? to change from > to # which needs a password to access.

*PS. password to change from > to # is "password".

do you mean how to login to the router with a perl script via an telnet connection by sending and receiving the text?

yup, that is my purpose too, create a web based application to send text to router. and the router will receive the configuration and changed it. can u help me?

was too long time ago I were working with perl now. I do almost anything in PHP these days. but maybe that question helped someone else understand the problem, I thaught...
