LOL yeah! If I ever get in the car with her again I'm going to shove cushions in my clothing and wear protective head gear.

...and then she BOOTED it, we went flying backwards and we were both like AHHH and she slammed on the breaks and started cracking up laughing even though she almost crashed my car. Was SO funny but never again am I teaching her how to drive.

Is it still snowing there, or?

I know people who know people who are missing still (assumed dead by now unfortunately) but don't know anyone personally, thank God. I've just been attached to the TV since Tuesday. It's just not looking hopeful aye... No one has been rescued since Wednesday and it's Friday now. And even so, 70 people have been rescued but ~230 people still missing. Death toll stands at 113 now.

Yeah it's alright.. haha, another trimester of hard work and 6am wake ups!

Oo learning to drive aye! How's it going? I've had my license for like.. going on two years now, tried teaching my sister how to drive in my car and she was so scared so I was like "omg no it's so easy, just put the key in the ignition, turn it, push a few things, you're done", so she hopped in my car and started it, took the handbrake off, put my car in reverse...

    o hey hey.

WELL, ever since yesterday I've been feeling down - the Christchurch earthquake has just absolutely SHOCKED the whole of New Zealand. It's unbelievably sad, some scenes look like 9/11 with all the buildings down. Hundreds missing, over 100 dead no doubt (official death toll at the moment is 75). NZ is a small country, we will all know someone affected.

And besides the earthquake, I'm about to start my third year at uni next week so ugh it's going to be hard getting up super early in the mornings now since I've been sleeping in since November.

How've you been/what you been doing?

No we do get snow, but mainly in the south island, I'm in the north. Where I live, this particular place, we never get snow though.

Yeah I heard about how the US was getting snow in irregular places. The weather is just playing up everywhere - Australia, Brazil, US, NZ, etc. We're having cyclones travelling towards us right now, well one hit the other day while I was on the beach with my mate LOL and literally caused a mini sand storm, had sand in my eyes and shoes and mouth.

Yep, I never really use the same name twice and I chose that for my stay here, decided it wasn't really the best name, looks too..leetish? My name is more simpler! Wait.. what is your name?

Nah I had never seen a snow plow in my life until I arrived in Italy.

How was your new years celebration?! I'm in LA currently and spent it in Disneyland!!! Was so unbelievably PACKED but so unbelievably AWESOME.

Yes, in NZ, however I'm in Italy right now and celebrated with my sister's host family that she lived with while she lived over here. Had a traditional Italian Christmas.
In NZ we pretty much have no traditions, unlike the one I had this year, and you can hardly see the Christmas spirit, like hardly any lights, etc. It's summer whenever it's Christmas so a little different than the typical Christmas you see in movies where it's always snowing!
We usually have a Christmas dinner or lunch and exchange gifts but that's really it.

Dog Whistle

by TeenChristian on 09-26-2010 at 04:13 PM
Hey there CodeCall!

It has definitely been a while since I have made a blog post, never mind posted a new project. As you may, or may not, already know I have been working alot with a game development library called the Dark GDK. Using this combined with C++ I have experimented with various different things, found my limits, and thought up new ideas. I have begun many projects thinking I could do it, and ended up realizing the complexity in some ideas. With that in mind, I am proud

Your Privacy

by TeenChristian on 09-02-2010 at 02:56 PM
A big New York foundation once told me years ago that privacy is the last thing people in the developing world have to worry about. It was a nice way of saying no to funding for my consumer group’s privacy project, but the line rang out to me again this week as new reporting at the Wall Street Journal brings into focus the great privacy betrayals of America’s giant tech companies and Third World America, Arianna Huffington’s new book, makes its debut.
As a one-time homeless advocate, I know

As you can see I didn't know what the Sixth Sense Project was, and that post marked the beginning of my exploration of an absolutely amazing project. This program allows you to bring your digital world wherever you go. "But we can already do that with our cell phones, can't we?" Yes this is true, but what's amazing about the Sixth Sense Project (we'll

My Top 3 Chrome Extensions

by TeenChristian on 07-17-2010 at 07:11 AM
So Lately I've been searching for something to blog about, and it finally hit me! "Why not tell everyone about my favorite Google Chrome extensions," I thought, thus this post was made! So lets get started.

3. Adthwart

The reason I chose adthwart as my third favorite Chrome extension, is because it does an amazing job of blocking ads. I probably would have rated it

100 Posts!

by TeenChristian on 06-29-2010 at 05:19 AM
YAHHH! I have officially reached a little check point of 100 posts (this excites me). I have went from a mere learning programmer to a programmer. Check it out, I got a the page with two posts of mine, one saying learning programmer and programmer

For this special occasion I have made a 100 post project... Before this post I made a simple dice generator, just generating the two random numbers 1-6. Lately I've been working with the Dark GDK
