My sort of comedy mandates that I answer in all seriousness, it's the situation from looking at this conversation in a 3rd person perspective that is comical.

What I'm saying is, I knew it was a joke, the response was the last one you would have otherwise expected.

If by "A lot of research" you mean "Google searched 'longest word in dictionary'", then yes.

Popular convention lists it as "antidisestablishmentarianism", however Wiki cites the longest word in a respected dictionary (The Oxford English Dictionary) as "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis ", however it was coined to be the longest word, and is listed as "A fictitious word."
