    Interview - Xav

    1. Tell me about yourself. Ex. Where your from, age, sex, past life experiences, past programming experiences.
My real name is Xavier Hussain, but no-one can pronounce it (Zay-Vee-Err) so I just stick to "Xav" (pronounced 'Zav'). I'm 12 years old and I live in London. I only program for the fun of it, but maybe I'll turn it into a profession.

    2. What do you expect to be doing five years from now? Ten years from now?
Hmm... well, in five years' time I'll be taking my A Levels (not sure what yet), and in ten years? Who knows - I might be the next Bill Gates. Regardless, I would most like a career in IT, and programming would be even better.

    3. What is your favourite language? If you don't have a single favorite, what do you prefer to use over the other?
It would have to be C#. Despite all the hype about the cons of .NET, I stand by my fave language. End of story. I used to use VB.NET.

    4. What would be your Ideal job?
Programming, something in IT, or a porn star - jk.

    5. What are the most important rewards you expect in your career or future career?
Money, money, and... money. And something that's fun, too - I don't like the idea of working at something boring.

    6. What are your strengths, weaknesses, and interests?
I'm clever, handsome and always right. I don't have any weaknesses.. well, maybe I like to dominate things. People say I'm boastful, but if you're so darn brilliant like me, who can blame me?
As for the hobbies, I like playing music (I can play at least 5 instruments), computers, speaking German, and... programming.

    7. What motivates you to put forth your greatest effort?
"I'm better than anyone else at everything so I need to prove it." Erm, I just remember that I'll be laughed at if I don't manage something.

    8. How did you find out about CodeCall?
On Google. Typed "programming forum", and voila.

    9. Why did you decide to join CodeCall and put forth what effort you have to help the community?
I loved the idea of discussing programming, and I always consider myself more of a giver than a receiver. I love helping people.

    10. What keeps you here?
The huge list of email notifications I get every day in my inbox.

    11. What is your future outlook on this community and what you might be willing to do for it?
I'm going to do everything I can to get CodeCall even better than it is (which is admittedly very difficult to achieve), and the future of programming is bright - so things are only going to get better (of course they will - now I'm in it...

Glad to get to know you Xav! I think that I pronounced your name correctly before you wrote it out. It is spelled the same as the professor on x-men, correct?

    Like what actions?

if you're talking about the over-blown boasting... that was just a laugh.

Well... not all that bluffing... I mean... everybody has the right to be 'over-proud'? of himself lol... it's some of your speech and the way you reply to some posts.. you can easily be spotted. No offense lol.. I mean I like your posts.. it's just that sometimes you do act like a child (it's what you are after all, so there is nothing wrong)

What if I tell you I was only joking, and I'm actually 64? Would you change your opinion?

I thought I was doing a pretty good job of impersonating an adult. Can you point me to a specific 'childish' post?

Thanks, Jordan. It's nice to know someone cares. Seriously, though, do you think I sound childish? I really don't want to be taken differently, just because I'm a youngster.

Unfortunately R-G disagrees with you. He says 60% of the entire day's posts come from me, and that they're all pointless. Plus, he gave me -rep for it! His rep power is not too high, but it still makes a big difference. I was very offended that my posts were called 'useless', but I don't have the heart to use the 'report post' button or anything.

I would still believe you are just a kid... or an adult that did not mature yet.

Well.. I will point you as soon as I find another one. Again.. I'm not saying I don't like your posts, lol, you are doing a great job imo (excluding the fact that you have like 4 infractions and a warning)
