Programmer Volunteers Needed

Dream of taking part in something massive?
Good news... The New RN site is currently looking for volunteer staff to help build all aspects of it's website. If you are looking to volunteer your programming skills while between jobs or on your spare time to build up your skills, then RN may be the place for you.

The Regional Networks (RN) Team, headquartered at regionalnetworks.net, is a social networking site that covers communities (mostly regional networks) worldwide. Our site is dedicated to providing local cities/communities with a link to the world, from China to Canada, and everywhere in between, it is a huge, global, and passionate community. I envision a good bit of the features for the better part of the website, but programming it all is impossible for just me to do alone, and there are just too many ideas, that it would take me years to put together.

- The programmer works on a range of technical projects to help improve and maintain the RN website or software applications related to the RN site project goals.
- This could include setting up or improving web-based services such as, networks, chat, groups, member services, ect...
- Some tasks require fairly advanced programming in a language like ASP .NET or Javascript

So if you'd like to help out a growing scene, flex your programming skills a bit, and see some of your work seen and enjoyed by people from all over the world, please drop me an email I ask that you have experience (and a link to something you've already done), and are reliable, and it would help ALOT if you understood our project a little bit and review it before contacting us.

Please note that all volunteers will be entitled to the RN volunteer incentive programme. It is a unique programme offered by RN to compensate you for your time and effort you put into our site. This will be based on the type of work done, and the time it took to complete the project. Not all projects qualify for this, and payouts occur only 45 days after the release of your project to the website. If this is something that interests you, then please request for paid projects.
