I setup goals for tracking on my Analytics and was suprised at the results from tracking. To start, I thought that adsense advertising had a very poor conversion rate and I thought other methods of traffic had a very high conversion rate. I was suprised to find out that google adsense had the highest rate so far! I've read some threads on here about people saying it had poor conversion ratio but maybe you just arn't tracking it right?
Do you mean you are using AdWords to advertise? I also thought it had a low conversion rate as well.
What is your current conversion rate with adwords?
Void
After adding goals to this forum in analytics I see that Google Adsense does have a higher conversion rate. Thanks for the tip!
How does adding goals increase conversion rate? I don't understand that.
Are you using the text-link advertisement method or are you using ads on adsense?
Kaabi: adding goals helps conversion rate, it just shows you the conversion rate.
I'm assuming you mean "doesn't help" conversion rate. Well, if it shows it, that's very helpful. Didn't know setting goals did that on Analytics (you're talking about analytics right?)
I will try it, and post the results here later if I get it ok.
Thank you for sharing the method of increasing the rate.
